Feeding Denver’s Hungry works and operates completely from Donations and Grants. None of our Board Members or Volunteers receives payment for their dedication to Feeding Denver’s Hungry. Even our website and the design of it has been donated to us.
We completely believe in Karma. We believe that when we are doing good for others within our community, good things will come to us. So far, great things has been coming our way. Yes; of course, we have experienced some negative happenings. However, we did not focus on the event of the negativity. Instead, we focused on the positivity of what can come from them and moved forward.

As of January 1st, 2022, the IRS has put in law for Tax Charges on us receiving donations through Venmo and other online resources. This has caused Feeding Denver's Hungry to push forward and change our donation methods to the utilize our 501(c)3 Tax Deductible Donations.
We are proud to announce that we have a new 100% Tax Deductible Donation Account with Venmo!

Donating to the FREE Grocery Store
The FREE Grocery Store accepts all kinds of donations.
We accept donations starting with, but not limited to, the following items:
- Fresh Produce from Farmers
- Fresh Produce from Private Individual Growers
- All Canned and Dry Goods
- Personal Hygiene
- Laundry Supplies
- Pet Supplies
- Baby Supplies
- Toys
- Clothing
- Other Household Items
We do ask and require that all food items be in their best shape possible, unopened and and within their “best by” and/or “expiration dates” as posted on the items. For all non-food items, we will inspect each item as they come in and make OUR best decision as to what we believe we will be able to provide to the community.
